Gurdev Marwaha
KGM Refrigeration was founded in 1984 by Mr. Gurdev Marwaha, whose career in industrial refrigeration spans over six decades. He began his journey in the 1960s with an apprenticeship at J&E Hall in Dartford, gaining hands-on experience in both manufacturing and service roles. His early involvement included commissioning the first two HallScrew compressor packages installed in the early 1980s — a technology he would go on to master and champion globally.
Since founding KGM, Mr. Marwaha has personally overseen and advised on the commissioning of more than 1,000 HallScrew packages across four continents and three oceans, including installations on both military and civilian naval vessels. Today, he remains a sought-after expert, regularly consulted by industrial refrigeration contractors and end users worldwide for his deep knowledge of HallScrew compressor design, commissioning, and maintenance
