Built around ultra-low charge NH₃ technology, AMChill delivers powerful cooling with minimal environmental impact, making it ideal for sectors facing increasing pressure from F-gas regulations and carbon reduction targets.
Compact Design, Powerful Performance
AMChill is engineered for plug-and-play installation, with a footprint of just 1 m × 1.6 m × 1.9 m — small enough to be lifted into place without cranes. Despite its compact size, it delivers cooling capacities from 100 kW to 150 kW, with chilled water outlet temperatures as low as +6 °C. The system is optimized for BITZER W-series open-drive compressors, ensuring reliable operation and long service life.
Ultra-Low Ammonia Charge
At the heart of AMChill is a revolutionary low-charge ammonia circuit, using approximately 0.1 kg/kW of refrigerant — up to 75% less than traditional flooded systems. This drastically reduces risk, simplifies compliance, and eliminates the need for plant room ventilation. AMChill is a future-proof solution for facilities seeking to transition away from synthetic refrigerants like R-404A or R-134a.
Liquid Injection & Thermal Stability
AMChill incorporates liquid injection cooling to manage discharge temperatures and maintain compressor integrity under high thermal loads. This feature enables stable operation even in demanding conditions, such as pharma pilot plants, chemical processing, and machine tool cooling, where precise temperature control is critical.
